25 Things About ME!!

This was going around facebook so I thought since I spent probably like 2 hours filling it out that I would put it on here too! Enjoy!

1. I am a horrible procrastinator! I pretty much always put things off until the very last minute! That is definitely something that I need to work on.

2. I have met John Mayer! And seen him in concert twice (and I go see him again in a heartbeat)! I've also seen Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Sara Bareilles & Neil Diamond. I am really hoping to add Billy Joel & Elton John to the list in May! And hopefully someday in the future I will get to see George Strait in concert!

3. I am planning on doing my 5th (and hopefully final) year of college at University of Nebraska-Omaha. I am really excited for a change of scenery. The whole small town thing is making me really restless.

4. I am getting my bachelors degree in History. I would really love to go to grad school but unless I get my GPA up in the next year and a half or so I don't think that it is an option for me anymore. :(

5. Please don't ask me what I am going to do with my history degree because I don't know. Just thinking about it makes me nervous...so please....don't ask me.

6. I am addicted to the Travel channel! I espeically LOVE to watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern!

7. I absolutely LOVE music! Any music! Well...almost...I don't really care too much for rap. Unless it has a good beat to dance to. I lovelovelove classic rock! Journey, Queen, AC/DC, Boston, & The Beatles are a few of my favorites. I also love George Strait, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Callait, and much much more!

8. I work at HyVee. I have for about 3 and a half years. I count all the money in the store...or at least most of it. And every night I fear getting a disease from the money. It's got to be the dirtiest stuff ever!!

9. I am going to New York City & Philadelphia for the first time in March! I CANNOT WAIT!!! I have always dreamed of going to NYC and I honestly don't think that I am going to want to come home. If I really love it out there I am thinking about moving to the east coast after I am done with school.

10. On a regular basis I get the urge to just pack a bag and run away. Not forever but just for a little while. I just want to drive to somewhere I've never been. Where no one knows me. Someday I will do it.

11. I am a sunday school teacher at my church. I was only supposed to teach preschool & kindergarteners but they didn't have a teacher for 2 & 3 year olds so I teach them all! Somedays it is really fun, other days just reinforce the reason as to why I will never be a teacher!

12. My iPod is pretty much one of my body parts. I am almost never without it! If it ever broke I would probably cry...honestly.

13. I can pretty much recite the Austin Powers movies. Also Mean Girls. So if you hate when people recite movies...don't watch those with me.

14. I have 2 younger sisters, Samantha who is 20 and Abigail who is 18. I also have a 7 year old half-brother named Jonathan.

15. My favorite season is summer! I absolutely love it! I don't care that it gets hot & humid. I'd take that over snow & sub-zero wind chills any day!

16. I have an amazing boyfriend named Matt, or Matt-hew as I like to call him! =] We have been together for 9 months and still going strong!! He is probably the best thing to happen to me!

17. I love the Kansas City Chiefs! Matt & I went to 2 games this year and it they were probably one of the most fun things ever! And now that Herm is fired we are hoping they actually win some games!

18. I love to listen to people play the piano. I REALLY wish that I knew how to play. And I am insanely jealous of everyone who can.

19. There are about a million places that I want to visit before I die. I'd list them all but I'd be typing for a day. Seriously. The list is THAT long.

20. My grandparents (on my mom's side) are never going to die. They are immortal. Or at least that's what I'd like to think. But seriously...if/when they do die I will be inconsoleable for at least a week. I can't imagine my life without them...

21. I love going to bars. That makes me sound like a drunk but I'm not. I just love the atmosphere.

22. I have the bestest parents in the world. No joke. I voted and they won.

23. I am addicted to reading Cosmopolitan and People magazines. They are one of my many guilty pleasures!

24. I am generally not a picky eater. I pretty much just love food in general. I do, however, HATE sour kraut. Good thing I am only like half German.

25. I lovelovelove musicals! One of my all-time favorites is Across the Universe because it is not only amazing but it is also all Beatles music! I am also a HUGE fan of Judy Garland. Oh, and I am going to my first Broadway musical when I am in NYC in March!
